MH Consulting began working with Emory University in 2002 to oversee the launch, expansion and management of the Professional Learning Programs at the Emory Center for Lifelong Learning. At that time, Emory University offered personal enrichment programs, but only a handful of basic computer and professional development classes. Through this partnership JMH Consulting worked with Emory University to choose programs that would grow the adult education student population and develop marketing channels that were able to capture and convert that audience.
Working hand in hand with Emory University, JMH was able to:
- Grow Emory University's Professional Learning gross revenue from approximately $20,000 to $4 million
- Start a Corporate Learning onsite training program that now engages with more than 50 corporate partners including The Home Depot, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and Cisco.
- Launch 10 certificate programs
- Design and launch a website the entire continuing education department that attracts approximately 30,000 visitors each month
"We wanted to launch new programs, but were challenged by the required expense, time and expertise. Outsourcing program management to JMH's entrepreneurial team was a way to quickly launch several new, complex, quality programs. Everything JMH does is customized to our institution, our demographic, and our brand. Five years later, Emory Center for Lifelong Learning is unrecognizable. Every day we are working smarter and doing more with less thanks to JMH's contributions."
