Jon M. Horn, President
Jon Horn is the President of JMH Consulting and a leading expert on the use of technology in adult education. A frequent presenter at conferences, Jon has been a dynamic presence in the continuing education field for more than twelve years as a consultant and educator. He delivers more than a dozen presentations each year to continuing education audiences at regional and national conferences.
Jon holds numerous professional credentials, including four certifications in online marketing, and was honored to receive the UCEA South Region Professional Continuing Educator Award in 2009.
Before specializing in consulting for continuing and professional education, Jon spent several years as a technology and web consultant.
A Presenter
As a presenter, Jon has spent more than 4,000 hours teaching for organizations like Emory University, The Home Depot, UPS, and Coca-Cola. He has also presented more than three dozen sessions at conferences such as UCEA, ACHE, LERN, CAUCE and CMED. A student once described him as a dynamic presenter who has the unusual ability to convey technical concepts in layman's terms. This ability to simplify complex ideas, coupled with remarkable enthusiasm, helps engage all types of audiences.
An Administrator
During the last six years, Jon has also served as the acting Director of Professional Programs at Emory University’s Center for Lifelong Learning where he has sparked a 500% increase in continuing education revenues.
An Author
As an author, Jon has produced more than twenty courseware packages and seminars, including such titles as “Starting and Running a Successful Website”, “So You Want to be an Entrepreneur?” and “Search Engine Marketing.” His courseware has been used by dozens of organizations nationwide and continues to be a core element of Emory University’s continuing education curriculum.
