Angela Marshall Honaker is a seven year veteran in higher education. As a consultant with JMH, she collaborates with universities to build successful programs that expand their portfolios. Angela manages program launches, recruitment efforts and student support services for Tier 1 universities from across the United States. Her passion for knowledge has led her to explore and embrace new technologies and systems, which help serve JMH’s university partners and promote strategic management.
Angela has presented on best practices in different areas of program management at both the regional and national UPCEA meetings. She trains newly hired instructors in utilizing each client’s systems and helps them to become acclimated to the teaching environments. Angela also assists with program evaluation processes and data collection. She has written tutorials for a variety of learning management systems such as Blackboard, Moodle, and Sakai.
Angela previously served as the Program Services Manager for Virginia Tech’s Continuing and Professional Education. In this role, she was the lead project manager for a number of executive development programs. Angela also oversaw registration services for all program offerings.
Angela loves spending time with her two dogs, Lilly and Rudi and is an avid fan of Virginia Tech – Go Hokies!
