Jun-Dec, 2009 - JMH Consulting staff members received several awards from continuing education associations:

  • Jacob Ensign was awarded the 2009 International LERN Award in Marketing for his development of the Continuing Education Retention Analytics (CERA) model
  • Jon Horn was awarded the 2009 UCEA Region South Professional Continuing Educator Award for his contributions to the continuing education industry over the past 10 years.
  • Jacob Ensign was awarded the 2009 UCEA Region South Research Award for his development of the Continuing Education Retention Analytics (CERA) model

November 20-23, 2009 - Jon Horn and Nicole Foerschler have been invited to present at the 32nd Annual Conference on Management, Executive, and Professional Development (CMED). Jon will present two sessions titled "Emerging Technologies in Professional and Executive Education " and "An ROI Comparison of Six Marketing Channels." Nicole will present a session titled "From Strategy to Execution:  Building a Blueprint for Growth." Jon will also present a pre-conference session titled "Creating a Culture of Data-Driven Decisions." More information is available on the CMED website.

November 19-21, 2009 - Jacob Ensign has been invited to present two sessions at the Learning Resource Network (LERN) annual conference in Savannah, GA. His two sessions are titled "Creating a Culture of Data-Driven Decisions" and "Retention Analytics"

November 15-18, 2009 - Four members of the JMH Team have been invited to speak at the 2009 ACHE National Conference in Philadelphia. Jacob Ensign, Jennifer John, Nicole Foerschler, and Jon Horn will each deliver a formal presentation and host a separate discussion topic during the conference. October 18-20, 2009 - The University Continuing Education Association Region South Conference will be hosted by Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for 2009. June 24, 2009 - Jon Horn delivers a guest lecture on web analytics for the communications and marketing staff at Emory University. The recorded video is available on Emory University's YouTube Channel.

April 1-4, 2009 - Jon Horn and Stephen Stoffle, Executive Director of Emory University's Center for Lifelong Learning, presented a talk entitled "An Innovative Contractor Model” at UCEA’s 94th Annual Conference in Boston, MA. Details about the conference are available on the UCEA website.

April 27-29, 2009 - Jennifer John and Jacob Ensign presented at the 2009 ACHE South Conference in Baton Rouge. Jennifer delivered a presentation titled "Increase Enrollments with a Simple 3 Prong Approach." May 12, 2009 - Jon Horn and Nicole Foerschler spoke to the Georgia Adult Education Association (GAEA) annual conference on Fiscal Accountability in Continuing Education and Mapping Strategic Initiatives to Executable Plans. More information is available on the GAEA website.

February, 2009 - Jon Horn presented a session titled "Perfecting the Pay-Per-Click" at the 17th Annual UCEA Marketing Seminar in Pheonix, AZ. His presentation focused on the effective use of paid online marketing to promote adult education courses. Details about the conference are available on the UCEA website.

December, 2008 - Jon Horn was invited to speak at the 2009 UCEA Marketing Conference in Pheonix, AZ on using Pay-Per-Click marketing in adult education.

November, 2008 - Jon Horn was invited to serve a four year term on the advisory board for the Conference on Management, Education, and Professional Development Programs.

November 21-14, 2008 - Jennifer John co-presented a session at the Conference on Management, Education, and Professional Development Programs in Clearwater, Florida with Gary Cruze, Senior Instructor for Emory University's Professional Learning Program. November 21-24, 2008 - Jon Horn presented three sessions at the Conference on Management, Education, and Professional Development Programs in Clearwater, Florida. The topics were "Technology Demystified: Are you as wired as your students?", "Best Practices in Website Design", and "Best Practices in Email Marketing." November 17, 2008 - Jacob Ensign receives the 2009 LERN International Award for Excellence in Marketing for his work on Emory University's Paralegal Certificate Program. October, 2008 - JMH Consulting contracts with the University of North Carolina's Friday Center for Continuing Education to design and manage pay-per-click marketing for their continuing education programs and conference center.


September, 2008 - On August 31st, Emory University concluded its fiscal year. For the second consecutive year, Emory's Professional Learning Programs, managed by JMH Consulting, experienced revenue growth of more than 20%.


June 27, 2008 - JMH Consulting signs contract with the New York Times' Knowledge Network to provide online marketing for their upcoming Paralegal Program in partnership with Thomas Edison State College.
