Here's what we were up to in 2007

Dec 12, 2007 - Jon Horn, president of JMH Consulting, has met Google's requirements to attain recognition as a Qualified Google Advertising Professional. Using Google Adwords, continuing and executive education programs can reach potential students at the precise moment they are looking for educational programs. Nov 18, 2007 - Nicole Foerschler, vice-president, and Jennifer John, program manager, co-presented a session at the 2007 Conference on Management and Executive Development in Phoenix, Arizona. The session topic was "Blended Learning: Enhancing the Classroom Experience Through Technology." Details are available on the CMED website.

Nov 16, 2007 - Jon Horn presented a pre-conference session and a concurrent session at the 2007 Conference on Management and Executive Development in Phoenix, Arizona. The pre-conference topic was "Search engine marketing" and included a discussion of organic and pay-per-click marketing tactics. The concurrent session topic was "Best practices in website design." October, 2007 - JMH Consulting's Jacob Ensign was awarded the Learning Resource Network's (LERN) national award for continuing education marketing. Jacob received the award for his work promoting data-driven decisions at Emory University's Professional Learning Programs. Award information can be found on the LERN website

October, 2007 - Jon Horn presented three sessions at the University Continuing Education Association Annual Region South Conference in Houston, Texas. Nicole Foerschler, vice-president, presented as well. Presentation topics for the conference included: "Building a Powerful Brand", "An innovative outsourcing model for continuing education" (co-presented with Steve Stoffl, executive director of the Emory Center for Lifelong Learning), "Search engine marketing", and "A multi-dimensional model to improve transfer of learning." September, 2007 - August 31st represents the conclusion of Emory University's fiscal year. During the 2006-2007 fiscal year, the Emory Professional Learning Programs, managed by JMH Consulting, experienced a tremendous 20.4% revenue growth. Meanwhile, expenses for the same programs grew by only 18.4%, indicating a trend toward increased profitability.
